Another busy day in the life of a Leeds United fan. On Friday, the main news was that Stuart Dallas had penned a new deal at Elland Road until the summer of 2024. It means Dallas will remain until he is 34 years of age. But there was plenty more going on than just Dallas – a round-up is needed.
Here is the latest Leeds round-up – including Dallas, comments from Nahitan Nandez, Fabrizio Romano discussing Junior Firpo and a move for Barry Douglas.
New Dallas deal
As aforementioned, Northern Ireland international Dallas has penned a new three-year deal with Leeds – keeping him at the club until 2024. It means Dallas will be 34 when that contract expires, but as many know, he only entered professional football at the age of 21. A big sign of intent.
Nandez comments on future
Nandez has constantly been linked with Leeds – and while on international duty at Copa America, told Cento Trentuno: “The rumors about Leeds? I heard, but honestly I don’t know anything yet and I have my head in the Copa and in reaching the goal.” He has a release clause woth £31million.

Romano discusses Firpo move
Firpo is expected to complete a move to Leeds. Now, Fabrizio Romano has applauded Andrea Radrizzani for the deal – and a move is 100% complete: “I have to say congratulations to Andrea Radrizzani.“He’s doing something incredible. Now, Junior Firpo is joining Leeds. 100% confirmed.”
Douglas joins surprise new club
Bit of a strange one. Barry Douglas officially left Leeds earlier this week. But he was expected to remain on these shores. However, the free agent has returned to former club Lech Poznan – where he played for almost three years, winning the league title and clocking up 75 appearances.
