A report from La Capitale – as per Voetbal Nieuws – claims that Anderlecht are requesting a bargain fee of £4.3m for winger Francis Amuzu this summer, with Leeds United said to be battling Luton and OGC Nice to land his signature.
Amuzu, 23, is set for the exit door at Anderlecht. A previous report from Voetbal Nieuws says that due to Anderlecht failing to qualify for European football, they will have to sell some players to balance the books – including Amuzu.
Belgian journalist Pieter-Jan Calcoen has reported that Leeds were among the clubs considering a move for Amuzu. But that the Whites face competition for the Ghana-born Belgium U21 star – from Premier League side Luton Town.
Luton and, billionaire-owned Nice. Amuzu has caught the eye over the years after being the latest name on a long conveyor belt of talent to come through at Anderlecht, playing 202 senior matches for the Jupiler League giants.

Now, the latest report states that Anderlecht are willing to sell the wide man for a bargain fee of just £4.3m. It comes a year after Anderlecht decided to reject an offer of £7.75m from Nice – who have retained their interest in Amuzu.
Anderlecht request bargain £4.3m for Amuzu with Leeds battling Luton
Amuzu is clearly worth more than a measly £4.3m. But given Anderlecht are desperate to sell, the asking price has been reduced from last summer and it could be that Amuzu leaves. You would imagine Nice are on pole position.
However, they have spent the best part of £20m landing Jeremie Boga from Atalanta. So, it will be interesting to see if the interest in Amuzu is as strong as it was last summer. A player that Vincent Kompany has branded as “quality”.
