Spanish site UD Las Palmas.Net claim Leeds United are one of six Championship clubs are keen to sign striker Sory Kaba from FC Midtjylland, after a stunning spell of form on loan at Cardiff City during the second half of the season.
Kaba, 27, was allowed to move to Wales in January by Midtjylland – despite clocking up 27 outings for the Danes during the first half of the season. He scored eight goals in 17 games, for a club that only just avoided relegation.
Little surprise, there is interest in his services – from the Championship. Indeed, the report claims that there are six Championship clubs showing interest in the 21-time Guinea star. He is in the final 12 months of his Midtjylland deal.
Leeds are interested. It comes after FLW reported that Leeds scouts had been watching Kaba. But now, the report says that Cardiff want him back, and Watford are also keen. The other three Championship sides are unnamed.
Las Palmas have just gained promotion back to the top tier of Spanish football and they have made an offer to sign the striker. But nothing has been decided. If Leeds are to sign Kaba, then they need to make a move very quickly.

Mateo Joseph is also an option up top. So, there is scope to sign another striker – but it surely dents the first-team exposure of Gelhardt and Joseph. A new striker could be needed, but Leeds must be careful there is a path way.
