Leeds United are reportedly in talks over a deal to sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Facundo Buonanotte.
That is according to Argentinian journalist Victor Bilsky, as per the Yorkshire Evening Post, who report the two clubs are discussing a potential loan move before the end of the window.
It is also said that the deal could include an option-to-buy next summer, which would come as a surprise given he only joined Brighton back in January.

Leeds are in need of some creativity in midfield and Buonanotte would certainly provide that, with the 18-year-old capable of playing either off the right, or as a number 10.
Buonanotte is one of just a number of huge South American talents Brighton currently have on their books, having arrived from Rosario Central for around £10 million.
Leeds in talks for Buonanotte who Tevez says reminds him of Messi
Tevez was the manager of Rosario Central when Buonanotte broke into the first team of the Argentinian side at the age of just 17.
Speaking in August of last year to Rosario3, Tevez likened his playing style to that of Lionel Messi – some high praise indeed.
“When he brakes and accelerates he reminds me of Messi. I haven’t seen a boy play like that for a long time, that gives me so much pleasure, and that I watch a lot of football.

“Facu has a great mentality, he doesn’t seem to be 17 years old. He is at a very high level, one thinks that he has no ceiling, it is where he wants to go . Today he is physically impeccable.”
Praise does not come much higher than this and it just shows what sort of talent Leeds would be getting if he made the move to Elland Road.
It is not often Brighton miss in their scouting of young talent, particularly in the South American market, and this would represent quite a coup for Daniel Farke’s side if they get it done.
