Leeds United target Brandon Williams would ‘eat his opponent’s nose to win’ according to Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville.
Neville made the claim back on Twitter in January 2020 when Williams had just began to establish himself in the first team at Manchester United.
According to the Independent, Leeds are considering a move for Williams this summer as they look to strengthen their options at left-back.
Williams will be allowed to leave Man United permanently before the end of the window but has enjoyed a good pre-season under Erik ten Hag.
At this stage, it remains unclear as to whether Williams would be willing to drop into the Championship but one advantage Leeds could have is that he has worked with Daniel Farke at Norwich City before.

Williams has made 51 appearances for for Man United since his breakthrough into the first team in 2019, 21 of which have come in the Premier League.
Sky Sports pundit Neville knows as well as anyone what it takes to be a successful Premier League full-back and wrote this about him on Twitter three-and-a-half-years ago.
He said: “I like Brandon Williams. What I like about him specifically is he has that look in his eye of someone that would eat his opponents nose to win the match. Keep going kid! Oh he can play football to which is always a bonus.”
Of course, that is now a long time ago but there aren’t many better qualified to give their opinion on a full-back’s ability, and it is clear he has the character to play for Leeds.
He is also clearly strong enough on the ball with Farke having previously signed him earlier in his management career, meaning it would not take him long to learn the system.
The only real stumbling block to a move is his affiliation and support for Man United, so it remains to be seen whether a move materialises.
