Leeds United are considering a move for Stoke City left-back Josh Tymon.
That is according to TeamTalk, who report both Leeds and Swansea City are mulling over whether to make a late swoop for Tymon before the end of the window.
Leeds remain in the market for a new full-back this summer, though it is unclear whether they will prioritise a right or left-sided player.
Daniel Farke came close to a reunion with Max Aarons earlier this month before Bournemouth hijacked the deal at the 11th hour, which would indicate he sees a right-back as a more pressing position.
However, as per this latest report, a left-back clearly has not been ruled out as they consider whether to make a move for Tymon.
Leeds consider move for Stoke’s Tymon
Tymon is currently playing second fiddle at Stoke to Enda Stevens, who joined the club on a free transfer from Sheffield United earlier this summer.
However, at this stage it remains unclear as to whether they would sanction an exit for the 24-year-old, who has two years left on his current contract.
Left-back has been a problem position at Elland Road for a number of years now, with right-footed Sam Byram first choice at the moment after joining on a free at the beginning of the month.
Leo Hjelde and Junior Firpo are also options at Farke’s disposal, though the latter could still leave before next Friday’s deadline, and is still struggling with injury.
Tymon has made 102 Championship appearances across his career so far, scoring two goals and providing nine assists.
Leeds are expected to have a busy end to the transfer window with both Joel Piroe and Nadiem Amiri both close to joining.
