Leeds United have been handed a possible boost in their pursuit of Swansea City striker Joel Piroe.
That is because Atalanta have earmarked Almeria striker El Bilal Toure as their first choice attacking target this summer if Rasmus Højlund departs, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Højlund has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United during the window with Erik ten Hag having reportedly chosen him as the player he wants as his new number nine.
The 20-year-old has already agreed personal terms ahead of a move to Old Trafford, but there is still plenty of work to be done on agreeing a fee.
Atalanta are said to value Højlund in excess of £80 million and while Man United are keen to sign him, it is unclear whether they will meet that asking price.

Alongside Leeds, Atalanta have been named as three of the clubs most heavily interested in signing Piroe from Swansea this summer.
Promotion rivals Leicester City are also in the running for the 23-year-old, but Leeds could now have a clearer run to his signature with Atalanta prioritising other targets.
Piroe is set for crunch talks with Swansea today which could prove crucial to deciding his future, with the player’s valuation one of the key topics up for discussion.
He has just 12 months left to run on his deal in South Wales and has already informed Swansea he will not be signing a new deal.
Piroe appears to be at the top of Leeds’ options to strengthen in attack and with Atalanta looking elsewhere, that is a big boost to their hopes of signing him.
