Joel Piroe is now set for ‘crunch talks’ with Swansea City amid interest from Leeds United, Leicester City and Atalanta.
That is according to Wales Online, who report Piroe’s representatives are set for discussions with Swansea’s hierarchy in the next 24 hours, with the club’s asking price among the key topics.
Piroe has just one year left on his current deal at Swansea and is said to have already informed the Welsh side he has no intention of signing an extension.

That puts Swansea in a difficult position with Piroe having been a key player in the two seasons since his arrival from PSV, scoring 41 Championship goals.
Swansea slapped a £20 million asking price on the 23-year-old 12 months ago in order to ward off interested clubs, but know this summer represents their final chance to command a decent fee.
Swansea set for crunch talks with Leeds target Piroe
As per the report, Leeds are the latest club to show an interest in Piroe, though Swansea are yet to receive anything in the way of concrete bids.
In fact, they suggest that Piroe is not currently Leeds’ priority with the focus instead firmly on signing a new full back, most probably on the left.

That said, striker still remains a position that is in desperate need of strengthening with Leeds having lost last season’s leading marksman Rodrigo to Qatar.
Leeds won’t be able to find too many more proven goalscorers at this level than Piroe, and given his age, still has plenty of room to improve.
These next 24 hours could prove crucial in what happens next to the Dutchman.
