Leeds United transfer target Cameron Archer would prefer a move to the Premier League amid interest from Sheffield United and Luton Town.
That is according to Sky Sports journalist Lyall Thomas, who reports while ‘literally every Championship club would take him’, he would rather secure a transfer to another Premier League club.
As per David Ornstein of the Athletic, Aston Villa are open to letting Archer leave permanently this summer after failing to do enough to impress Unai Emery into handing him a first team role.

Leeds are among the sides said to be interested in signing Archer before the end of the window, with a new striker top of their long list of priorities.
They will, however, face competition from Sheffield United and Luton, both of whom were promoted to the Premier League last season.
Archer prefers Premier League move amid Leeds interest
After a difficult summer, the Blades now have cash to spend having sold key assets from last year’s Championship squad in Iliman Ndiaye and Sander Berge.
Luton, meanwhile, would prefer to do a loan deal for Archer which could hand Sheffield United the advantage with Villa preferring a sale.

Despite being only 21, Archer has already proven himself as a top Championship striker having enjoyed two prolific loan spells at Preston North End and Middlesbrough respectively in the last couple of seasons.
He would represent a significant coup for Leeds but it does appear as though he feels ready to test himself at a higher level.
As per the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds have lodged a bid for an unnamed striker, and it remains to be seen whether Archer could be that man.
