Junior Firpo sends emphatic five-word message to Leeds United teammate Jayden Bogle

Tuesday night proved to be another emphatic performance and result for Leeds United as The Whites completely tore apart Watford, winning 4-0 away from home at Vicarage Road.

A brace from Dan James and goals apiece for Manor Solomon and Joel Piroe saw Leeds secure a 20th Championship win of the season. A victory that did see Leeds go five points clear of Sheffield United.

Leeds have now gone 14 games unbeaten in the Championship, winning 10 and drawing four while keeping six clean sheets in a row, in the process. Since Illan Meslier’s Hull disaster, he’s not conceded.

The Whites were clinical at Vicarage Road and it saw Tom Cleverley describe Leeds as a mid-table Premier League side. Everywhere you look in this Leeds side, there are players playing out of their skin.

Jayden Bogle posts on Instagram after Leeds beat Watford

Meslier, Joe Rodon, Ao Tanaka, James, Piroe and plenty of others are arguably in the form of their life under Daniel Farke in a Leeds shirt. Bogle is no different, as he tries to help Leeds see off old side Sheffield United.

The Blades reduced the five-point gap to two on Wednesday night with a win over Middlesbrough while Burnley and Sunderland also secured victories. Bogle posted on Instagram following Leeds’ victory.

He said: “Solid team performance”, following the comprehensive victory as Leeds continue to dispel their early-season form away from home. The promotion race is alive, with Gustavo Hamer also confident.

Junior Firpo says Jayden Bogle is the League’s best right-back

Bogle has been excellent over the last couple of months. A difficult start saw Bogle make a few mistakes following his £5m arrival, like a penalty conceded on the opening day, suspension and Burnley’s winner.

But the £25k-a-week star has been excellent since. He has scored four goals and laid on two assists in his 30 matches for the club and Firpo commented, declaring the right-back is the Championship’s best.

Bogle, Firpo and Leeds are next in action next Monday when The Whites go up against promotion rivals Sunderland. Then, Bogle takes on his old club Sheffield United a week later, a massive promotion clash.
