Josuha Guilavogui has been the heart and soul behind the scenes at Leeds United this season.
He’s not only a fan favourite, but Guilavogui is also widely appreciated around Leeds.
The midfielder brings a different kind of energy that has helped the club’s off-field success, as Daniel Farke described Guilavogui as ‘unbelievable’.
With Leeds edging closer and closer each week to a Premier League return, Guilavogui will go under the radar for his efforts at the club.
After Illan Meslier’s criticism at Leeds, Guilavogui has shown his brilliant attitude once again.

Josuha Guilavogui sends message to Leeds United teammate Illan Meslier
It was looking increasingly likely that the goalkeeper would look for the exit at Elland Road, but Meslier has silenced his critics at Leeds.
It’s been great to see the turnaround from the French goalkeeper as the Leeds no.1 has now kept six consecutive clean sheets in all competitions.
Guilavogui has posted on X to heap praise on the squad and Meslier’s recent U-turn in form.
“Everything is going well, and we’re enjoying every moment together! The hard work is paying off, but we stay humble and focused to achieve our ambition,” Guilavogui said.
“Special shoutout to our keeper, what a mentality! On to the next one!”
Leeds must try and retain Guilavogui for his impact off the pitch
Although he hasn’t made his impact on the pitch, Guilavogui was clearly brought in for another element.
With the midfielder now at 34, it was always likely he wouldn’t have the legs for the Championship, as Farke is eager to retain Guilavogui’s services, probably due to his morale-boosting attitude.
This comes after interest from Paris FC in Guilavogui, as the Leeds player’s contract runs out in the summer.
Farke will have to do a lot of convincing to keep hold of the midfielder, but if he played a part in Meslier’s turnaround, the Leeds boss is onto a winner with Guilavogui.
