Leeds host Chelsea on Wednesday night, and it could well be the penultimate game of Daniel Farke’s reign.
The Guardian believe Farke might be dismissed if he loses to both Chelsea and Liverpool this week, with Leeds already sitting 18th after a run of one win in the last eight Premier League games.
Both of these fixtures will at least be taking place at Elland Road in front of the typically raucous Leeds fans – who John Terry has now spoken about ahead of the game on Wednesday.

Previewing the match on TikTok whilst jogging, the 44-year-old said: “Leeds away Wednesday night, always a tough fixture, but these are the ones we have to win if we want to be title contenders at the end of this season.
“Always a hostile atmosphere at Leeds, a team that’s always on the front foot – regardless of manager and personnel. That’s what they bring, so we have to match that.”
Chelsea actually suffered a resounding 3-0 defeat last time they played a Premier League game at Elland Road, as goals from Brenden Aaronson, Rodrigo and Jack Harrison secured all three points.
However, that was a vastly different Chelsea side managed by Graham Potter, while Jesse Marsch was at the helm for Leeds at the time.
Enzo Maresca – who revealed Cole Palmer is available – is currently doing a much better job as Chelsea sit third in the Premier League, so Farke must ensure Leeds are prepared.
John Terry has previously mocked Leeds United
Terry was respectful of Leeds when speaking on TikTok, but he previously mocked the Whites in May 2019 after Marcelo Bielsa was found guilty of spying on Championship opponents.

After his good friend Jody Morris – a coach at Derby at the time – said “we got another spy in the camp” while out with Terry, part of the Aston Villa staff back then, the Chelsea legend laughed and did the binoculars gesture which many used to mock Leeds.
The 44-year-old won’t be laughing on Wednesday, however, if Leeds can inflict misery on his beloved Chelsea.
