Jamie O’Hara shares something he’s spotted about Leeds United this season that is ‘absolutely unbelievable’

There is a feeling about Leeds United at the moment and it’s that promotion seems an inevitability with Daniel Farke’s side unbeatable, even if Leeds concede first to the next-best side in the league.

Leeds came into the last couple of weeks of February with two massive promotion showdowns against Sunderland and Sheffield United. Indeed, fourth-placed Sunderland and closest rivals Sheffield United.

Leeds came from behind to beat Sunderland last Monday, Pascal Struijk scoring a brace and then Leeds scored two more goals late on at Bramall Lane to defeat Sheffield United after Junior Firpo’s equaliser.

These late goals have put Leeds into a “fabulous position” according to Chris Wilder, with the Whites now in an excellent position not only to go and secure promotion but win the Championship title this season.

Jamie O’Hara shares what he’s noticed about Leeds United

Given the magnitude of the wins over Sunderland and Sheffield United, Leeds are on the agenda for pundits and presenters alike with the Whites once again starting to earn Premier League coverage.

Jamie O’Hara was discussing Leeds United’s win over Sheffield United on Monday night after full-time and he told TalkSPORT’s late-night show that he has noticed something about Daniel Farke’s Leeds.

“We’ve watched Leeds quite a lot this season, because you’re on tv a lot as you’re flying and the amount of late goals they score is absolutely unbelievable,” O’Hara said on TalkSPORT last night (24/02, 22.42PM).

When Leeds United have scored their 71 Championship goals

Not only are Leeds five points clear of Sheffield United, seven ahead of Burnley and a whopping 12 points in front of Sunderland – but the Whites also boast a goal difference of 50. More than double The Blades.

Burnley’s clean sheet run has only seen them amass a goal difference of 34. Leeds are on fire, everything is clicking at the right time and in the 12 league games left, they may only need to win half of them.

Leeds are next in action on Saturday when they welcome Tony Mowbray’s West Brom to Elland Road. A win could see them increase their lead over third-placed Burnley to double digits, if Burnley lose.
