Eintracht Frankfurt have added Leeds United defender Robin Koch to their list of targets this summer.
That is according to journalist Christian Falk, who was speaking to Caught Offside on Koch’s future, with the centre back almost certain to leave Elland Road in the coming weeks.
Falk reports that Koch will be available to leave on a free transfer after Leeds’ relegation, though various media outlets in England have disputed those claims.
Instead, Koch could actually leave on a loan deal, with the Athletic’s Phil Hay revealing those close to the defender believe it is a distinct possibility.
Frankfurt are set to be in the market for at least one new centre back this summer having lost key defender Evan Ndicka to AS Roma on a free transfer.

With Leeds now in the Championship and just 12 months left to run on Koch’s deal in West Yorkshire, he has not been short of interest in recent weeks.
A number of Premier League sides have also reportedly held talks with Koch’s representatives, including Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
Brentford, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest are also said to have had ‘exploratory’ discussions, though it remains to be seen whether he prefers to remain in England, or return to the Bundesliga.
Koch is determined to get himself back in the Germany fold having not made an appearance for his country in over two years during a 1-1 draw with Denmark.
Leeds must ensure they receive some sort of fee for Koch this summer, with a loan deal or free transfer making absolutely no sense from the club’s point of view.
