Leeds United head coach Daniel Farke has given his verdict on Mateo Joseph.
Joseph was in action for Leeds against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.

Daniel Farke praises Leeds United forward Mateo Joseph
Well, Leeds United beat Blackburn Rovers away from home in the Championship on Saturday.
Leeds won 2-0. Daniel James scored the opening goal for the West Yorkshire club in the 27th minute. Crysencio Summerville added the second on 75 minutes.
Mateo Joseph played in the game for Leeds. The 20-year-old did not start the match, but the English youngster came on as a substitute in the 89th minute.
Joseph had a pass accuracy of 50% and took four touches. There was not much time for the England Under-20 international, but head coach Daniel Farke was still impressed and has praised him for putting a shift in.
The forward has not been used much at all this season. The match against Blackburn was his first appearance in the Championship this campaign. He made three substitute appearances in the Premier League in the last campaign.
Farke told Leeds Live about Joseph: “Patrick unwell. Mateo got his chance. Always the same. Wait patiently. Did that. Not 90 minutes, or nine or nine seconds. Have to be on it.
“Important to save many balls. Show physicality. Free-kicks he was a good performer.
“Not a moment to shine, but important shift for the team. Told this to him straight away after the game.”
Mateo Joseph should stay positive
In my view, Leeds United forward Mateo Joseph should stay positive. Daniel Farke clearly rates him, which is why he decided to bring him on as a late substitute.
Of course, Joseph is not suddenly going to become a regular in the Leeds starting lineup. The West Yorkshire club are doing well now, and there is no reason for Farke to change things.
But, I believe that the forward should be ready. He could get more chances in the coming weeks and months.
