Leeds United face their third Championship game in six days when they host Watford on Saturday.
The Whites will be looking to make it seven points in less than a week after beating Millwall 3-0 at the Den on Sunday, before being held to a 0-0 draw at Hull City in midweek.
Leeds are now starting to show signs they are clicking under Daniel Farke but will need to start putting wins on the board on a more consistent basis.
Perhaps the most pleasing aspect of the last few weeks is that Leeds have now kept three clean sheets in a row in the league, a feat they have not managed in over three years.
However, they will be without the impressive Joe Rodon as he serves a one-match ban for the red card he picked up at the MKM Stadium.
Prutton predicts Leeds vs Watford
Writing in his latest Sky Sports prediction column, former Leeds midfielder David Prutton has backed the Whites to secure their first home league win of the season against Watford.
He said: “Leeds were imperious at Millwall, and then lucky to hold on and get a point at Hull with 10 men. It really does sum up how unpredictable this league can be sometimes.
“Watford have enjoyed a decent week, although they will have been disappointed not to go on and win against West Brom. They will have a go at Leeds, which could play into their hands. Home win. Prediction: Leeds 2-1 Watford.“
Saturday’s game will represent a different challenge than they have faced at Elland Road this season as it could be the first time a team does not just come and sit back.
As Prutton said, this could actually benefit Leeds as it has done in away matches, providing their attacking players with the space they need to create chances.
However, they will have to be wary at the other end, too, with Watford posing a decent threat themselves in the final third.
