Daniel Farke says he has been working hard this week to make sure his Leeds United squad do not become complacement.
Farke was speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the trip to Southampton on Saturday, where he was quizzed on the Whites’ morale after a good recent run of form.
Leeds played three matches in six days in the first week after the international break, picking up seven points in that period against Millwall, Hull City and Watford.

Farke’s side have also kept four consecutive clean sheets in the Championship with Leeds really beginning to click into gear under the 46-year-old.
However, Leeds are back in action again this weekend and face a Southampton side who will be eager to bring their four-match losing run to an end.
Farke shares Leeds challenge this week
Speaking ahead of the trip to St. Mary’s, Farke says he and his coaching staff have been working hard to ensure every player’s focus remains as sharp as possible.
He said: “It’s always good for the mood and confidence after a good win. It just influences the first day though because then you are on it again. It’s about winning the next training game or being the best in shooting or the next game. If someone is not focused, we as coaching staff have to make sure everyone is on it. We have to make sure we are on it and not enjoying ourselves too much.”

Leeds head into the game at the weekend full of confidence but it will be important not to go too far the other way and become complacent.
Things are starting to look extremely promising under Farke but it is important to remember Leeds are still eight points behind the top two, and how long the season is.
Southampton may be on a bad run but they still have plenty of top players for this division and so it is good to hear Farke has been quick to ensure Leeds remain fully focused.
