Reports have emerged from Germany that Newcastle United, a number of Premier League clubs are interested in Leeds United man Robin Koch – and if that interest is true, then Victor Orta needs to move quickly and get his future tied up.
Koch, 26, has entered the final 18 months of his contract at Leeds. Much like Jack Harrison, who has been linked with an exit, the Germany ace will be on the market this summer – if Leeds do not tie up his future in the next few weeks.
German outlet Sport1 claim that interest in Koch is already mounting. They say that Newcastle want him, as well as a number of other Premier League clubs. Bundesliga sides are already said to have made enquiries over a move for him.
Leeds are supposedly said to be looking at a new deal for Koch. But the outstanding issue is the club’s perilous place in the Premier League table. That, and Koch’s desire to add to his eight Germany caps won at senior level, so far.

Newcastle interested in Leeds man Koch, Orta needs to move quickly
Koch has been one of our best players this season. In a tricky campaign, one that could end up in the worst way possible, Koch has been consistent – rarely shining, but hardly making a glaring mistake, either. Leeds need him.
If there is any way Orta can convince Koch to stay, then he has got to make it happen. Koch is the defensive spine of this Leeds side and while others are underachieving around him, or tactics might not be right, Koch is pivotal to us.
So, if the reports are true than Leeds absolutely have to do everything within their power to keep Koch at Elland Road, and get him to sign a new deal. But, ultimately, Leeds might have to wait until Premier League safety is secured.
