Leeds United have the chance to once again take the ascendency in the Championship title race when they take on QPR this weekend.
Leeds United began flirting with disaster last weekend when they slipped to a shock defeat to Portsmouth, their first since November.
The loss opened the door for Sheffield United and Burnley to really turn the heat up on Daniel Farke’s side but both failed to win their fixtures in midweek.
Leeds had no such issue, reclaiming top spot in the Championship table with a dull yet comfortable 2-0 victory over Millwall.
The opener was an own-goal set up by Manor Solomon before Ao Tanaka secured the three points with a late strike.
There’s little rest for the Whites as they will be aiming to gain an even bigger points advantage as they take on QPR this weekend before their title rivals compete.
Here’s all you need to know about the fixture.

QPR vs Leeds United team news
Leeds are sweating on the fitness of Joe Rothwell, who picked up a knee problem in his brilliant display against Millwall.
Farke discussed his injury after the match and is hopeful he’ll be fit to play. The manager said: “Rothwell’s knee was getting stiffer and stiffer.
“I wanted to have him on the pitch for as long as possible today. He gave the sign to take him off. We’ll out him in the ice bath for the next 48 hours.”
Elsewhere, Patrick Bamford, Ethan Ampadu and Max Wober all remain sidelined.

Predictions
Leeds won’t just be up against QPR but a bewildering stat that has emerged this season.
Following the loss at Pompey last week, United have won just two of their last 13 matches that have kicked off at 1:30 pm or earlier.
It’s a bizarre trend but with a big enough sample size to be an issue and one that needs rectifying. Leeds never look as sharp in early kick-offs and Farke needs to find a solution to break the curse.
On paper, it should be an easy win but fate might intervene again.
Prediction: QPR 1-1 Leeds United.
