Leeds United are aiming to put the bad times behind them and pick up another victory when they take on Preston North End this weekend.
After a disastrous run that threatened to cost them an automatic promotion place, Leeds United finally got back to winning ways as they edged out Middlesbrough 1-0 on Tuesday.
Dan James’ strike with just two minutes on the clock was the difference, though Ao Tanaka and Patrick Bamford both saw goals wrongly disallowed.
With Chris Wilder’s Sheffield United falling to another defeat and Burnley dropping points at Derby, Leeds managed to climb back to the top of the Championship table.
Burnley play before Leeds this weekend, so they could drop again before playing, meaning the pressure hasn’t lessened at all for when the Whites take on Sam Greenwood’s Preston.
Here’s everything you need to know about the fixture.

Leeds vs Preston prediction
Leeds might have returned to winning ways but the pressure remains immense and it’s easy to see the players wilting under it again.
Especially given Leeds are playing yet another early kick-off after winning just two of their last 15 matches that began at 1:30 pm or earlier.
With injuries mounting as well, it’s going to be another tough and nervy affair.
Prediction: Leeds 2-1 Preston.
