Daniel Farke has secured his second Manager of the Month award of 23-24 at Leeds United after guiding the Whites to four wins from four in the League – and Archie Gray has sung his praises.

Aside from our FA Cup exploits, which has also seen Leeds progress past Peterborough United and Plymouth to set up a tie against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge – Leeds have also won four games in a row.

Birmingham, Cardiff, Preston and Norwich saw Leeds pick up 12 points, conceding only one goal and keeping three clean sheets. Dan James and Patrick Bamford nominated for Player of the Month award.

Farke has impressed as Leeds manager. Not only because of our form on the pitch which sees Leeds sit in third place and in with a chance of the top two – but of the way he’s deal with things off the pitch.

Speaking on the latest official Leeds podcast, 17-year-old Gray was full of praise for his manager when asked about Farke – highlighting just how clever he is behind the scenes since working under him.

“He’s got everything, he’s so tactically smart. He’s a motivator as well in the changing room, he gets you going. The preparation during the week, you’re always ready – we always focus on the next game.”

Archie Gray raves about Leeds United manager Daniel Farke

Farke has been excellent since arriving at Leeds. He has had to do deal with a lot, too. Players leaving us on loan thanks to Victor Orta, and having to build a squad on a limited budget during last summer.

He’s getting the best out of his players. An attacking brand of football that is exciting to watch, but also solid at the back. His signings have worked, his tactics are working, and promotion is in our sights.
