Sam Byram has labelled as Daniel Farke as ‘brilliant’ to work alongside after reuniting with him at Leeds United.
Byram was speaking in an interview with iNews, where he was asked about how Farke had managed to turn Leeds around in such a short space of time following the negativity for much of the summer.
Leeds supporters had been left angered after a series of poor decisions by the previous ownership saw them sleepwalk towards relegation from the Premier League.
It was that regime which allowed the players who were heavily involved in last season’s relegation to secure an easy exit away from Elland Road, due to loan clauses inserted into their contracts.
Both publicly and privately, however, Farke was able to manage the situation extremely well and in the end, Leeds finished the summer with a squad arguably stronger than the one it started with. Byram was among the nine signings.
Byram hails Farke as ‘brilliant to work with’
Due to his recent injury problems, there was a hint of scepticism regarding Byram’s return to Leeds, but it was Farke who pushed for the club to sign him permanently.
Speaking on what it is like to work under Farke, Byram believes his style of play and experience if getting out of the Championship, make him ‘brilliant to work with’.
He said: “He’s brilliant to work with. His reputation, especially from the Championship and getting promoted in the past, speaks for itself. His style of play from Norwich and when he was managing out of the country (is excellent).”

Farke earned himself plenty of credit in the bank for the way he conducted himself over the summer, as players departed left, right and centre.
Despite a difficult start to the season, Farke showed no signs of panic, though. That calmness has certainly paid off with the quality Leeds now have in the squad, at this level.
And over the last few weeks, there are clear signs that Farke is really implementing his style of play on his side, thanks to six wins in the last seven matches.
