Daniel Farke has shared some good news concerning Jaidon Anthony ahead of Leeds United’s clash with Leicester City on Friday night.
Leeds face what could be a season-defining game at Elland Road. Following our win over Plymouth Argyle on Saturday, and Leicester’s defeat to Middlesbrough later in the day, we could now move to within six points of the Foxes with a victory.
Unfortunately, Leeds were without Jaidon Anthony for the trip to Home Park. Phil Hay suggested that Anthony was missing out due to personal reasons.
Daniel Farke says Jaidon Anthony is available for Leeds on Friday
Of course, it has been an awful time for the winger away from the pitch. So it was a real shame to hear why he was not involved against the Pilgrims.

But speaking in his press conference today, Daniel Farke suggested that the Bournemouth loanee is in contention to play a part against the league leaders ahead of the weekend.
“Jaidon Anthony’s back in training, also available for [Friday], good news. Also Karl [Darlow] is back in main parts of team training. Definitely not far away,” he said.
Big boost for Whites
Anthony may not be overly happy with the game-time that he has had since arriving in the summer. It looked to be a real coup to land the 24-year-old as Luis Sinisterra departed for the Vitality Stadium.
But few could have seen how good Daniel James, in particular, would be. And Willy Gnonto has been absolutely outstanding in the last few weeks, scoring five goals in his last five games.
There is real depth in those areas of the pitch. And with that, Anthony is yet to complete 90 minutes in the Championship so far this season.
But he proved against Plymouth in the FA Cup just how much quality he possesses. And it is a huge boost for us to have a player of his quality waiting in the wings – as Leicester hopefully find out on Friday.
