Leeds United returned to winning ways with a closer than it looked 1-0 win over QPR on Wednesday night.
The Whites were dominant, if not at their best against Gareth Ainsworth’s side, but were able to keep them at arms length to secure another three points.
After Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at Southampton, Leeds needed to find any possible way to bounce back and did so thanks to Crysencio Summerville’s early goal.

Summerville latched onto an incisive through ball from Georginio Rutter to net his second goal of the season and set Leeds on the pathway to victory.
Much of Summerville’s goal can be attributed to the pass by Rutter, who registered his third assist in just five matches as he continues to show why Jesse Marsch and Victor Orta wanted him at Elland Road.
Rutter the star again in Leeds win
Assists can often be a statistic that is deceiving but there can be no question marks behind any of Rutter’s, with each of them special in their own way.
Rutter had perhaps a quieter 90 minutes than in weeks gone by but you can’t help thinking he looked a cut above the rest whenever he was in possession.

Despite playing as a striker, Rutter completed four key passes and created two big chances, which was more than anyone on the pitch from either side.
He has become renowned for his dribbling ability in recent matches but some of the passes he has in his locker are unbelievable and clearly more than what many Championship defences can handle.
His quality from deep does beg the question as to whether he and Joel Piroe should swap round, but given how well he is playing as a number nine, Daniel Farke will probably be reluctant to change it.
