The son of former Leeds United defender Danny Mills George was left fuming after an incident in the 5000m at the Olympic games.
Mills was competing in the event looking to secure his qualification in Saturday’s final as the group of runners headed for the final straight.
Alongside Spain’s Thierry Ndikumwenayo, Team Refugee’s Dominic Lobalu and Netherlands’ Mike Foppen, Mills was sent tumbling to the ground after an incident involving France’s Hugo Hay.
Hay was seen to be giving Mills a slight nudge with his right arm and in turn, sent the Team GB athlete to the ground along with three other runners.
Mills was left fuming with Hay’s actions after the race and was seen involved in an angry exchange with Hay on the track to express his discontent.

Seeing Mills involved in an angry incident like this should come as no surprise to Leeds fans given the way Danny was on the pitch.
Having said that, Mills certainly has every right to feel aggrieved as circumstances out of his control have ultimately led to him being unable to finish a race on the biggest stage.
Mills was interviewed by BBC Sport immediately after the race and his anger was pretty clear for all to see, criticising the actions of Frenchman Hay for his involvement.
He said: “I mean I think it’s pretty clear, I got stepped out on. I thought I was about to kick in the home straight and then the French lad took me down. Yeah [I had words after], but I am probably not allowed to say.
“I haven’t seen any of the officials but I am pretty sure the BA [British Athletics] will be on it to put in an appeal I hope. From my perspective that was the perfect qualifier for me.
“Going through the first 6k in two minutes, I was like, ‘OK, nobody in this field can run away from me at this pace.’ So I was just sitting there, biding my time and then kick on the home straight. Then I hit the deck, what can you do?”
Race referee makes quick Mills decision
Thankfully for Mills, his anger was short-lived as the race referee made a very swift decision regarding his qualification for Saturday’s final.
Alongside the other fallers Ndikumwenayo, Lobalu and Foppen, Mills will be allowed to compete for gold at the weekend, as per Euro Sport.
Having finished in the top seven, Hay will also be in the race and so it should certainly be an interesting watch once again.
