Nottingham Forest attacker Emmanuel Dennis is close to a move to Turkey after links to Leeds United in the summer.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who says Dennis has offers on the table from both Adana Demirspor and Instanbul Basaksehir.
The two Turkish top-flight clubs have presented loan bids to Forest, who have been unable to shift Dennis permanently after signing him for £20 million from Watford in the summer of 2022.
Clubs in Turkey have until this Friday to complete anymore signings with their window lasting for two weeks longer than the one in England.
Dennis was unable to secure a move away from the City Ground within the English window’s deadline despite Forest having been open to his sale since the beginning of the summer, as per the Athletic.
Romano says Dennis set for Turkey move
According to Complete Sports back in June, Leeds had identified Dennis as a player as someone who can add more firepower to their attack this season.
It was said that Forest wanted to command a ‘decent fee’ for Dennis having spent a significant amount of money to sign him just a year earlier.
Clearly Forest are now just desperate to get him off their wage bill any way they can having enjoyed another window of heavy spending, with Turkish clubs ready to cover 100% of his salary.
Leeds never firmed up their interest in anything concrete and instead brought in the likes of Joel Piroe and Jaidon Anthony to bolster their forward line.
Piroe joined in an initial £10.5 million deal from Swansea, while Anthony made a late deadline loan switch from Bournemouth.
