Leeds United cruised to a comfortable 4-1 win over Huddersfield Town on Saturday lunchtime at Elland Road, and Dan James has heaped praise on Cree Summerville during his latest comments with LUTV.
Summerville was the star of the show once again for Leeds, after his display away at Norwich. He got two goals, laid on two assists in a wonderful first-half display that saw Leeds lead 4-0 at the break.
A win that sees Leeds get back to winning ways after the loss to Stoke, which is crucial ahead of our next game – against table-topping Leicester, at the King Power. Summerville has been on fire for us.
Social media was full of praise for the winger on Saturday. James continued that appraisal for the £1.3m signing from Feyenoord. He was amazed by Summerville’s ability to unlock Huddersfield’s defence.
“We were excellent today, Cree just unlocking them defences, a great day – 45 minutes, two assists, two goals for him and he put two great balls in for me as well. It was massive for us after Wednesday.”

Summerville has starred for Leeds this season. He now has 10 goals and assists in 11 games for the Whites, scoring six and creating four. If Leeds are going to go up, we really need to keep Summerville.
A player that is not only Premier League standard, but one that can grow even further. One that changes games. What is crucial now, is that Leeds keep Summerville at Elland Road for as long as possible.
