EFL pundit tips Daniel Farke to throw new Leeds United signing into starting XI against Burnley

Daniel Farke could have all four of his new late window signings available for Leeds United’s clash with Burnley on Saturday.

The Whites return from the international break with a match against their fellow promotion favourites at Elland Road, with a squad that will finally have a settled look to it.

Manor Solomon, Largie Ramazani and Ao Tanaka were all handed their Leeds debuts against Hull City last time out, while Isaac Schmidt is set to be available for the first time since arriving from FC St. Gallen.

Of that aforementioned trio, Solomon was the only one handed a start. Following a performance which prompted Neil Redfearn to call him too good for the Championship, he is likely to keep his place.

Ramazani – after another full week of training – and Tanaka, providing he comes through Japan’s trip to Bahrain unscathed, will both be pushing for their first starts, too.

Largie Ramazani tipped to start for Leeds

No club in the Championship has had more players away on international duty than Leeds over the last week-and-a-half.

As such, it will be interesting to see whether Farke rotates his squad at all, particularly in attack, given all four of the starters against Hull City have been away.

Of that quartet, Brenden Aaronson is the most likely to miss out, with USA not kicking off until midnight of Wednesday morning BST, which does not give him much time to recover.

Ramazani, Dan James and Joel Piroe are among the names who will be pushing to potentially replace Aaronson and speaking on the latest episode of the ‘What The EFL Podcast‘, pundit Sam Parkin has tipped the former to get a start.

He said: “It [the amount of Leeds internationals] is going to be impactful this weekend I would suggest. It is fascinating to see how that front support cast is going to look with Solomon, Gnonto and Aaronson all away.

“I think Ramazani potentially could get a start here, so we will have to keep an eye on that one. Leeds are going really well.”

How could Leeds’ front four look with Ramazani?

Ramazani’s inclusion would certainly give Leeds’ front four an incredibly quick and exciting look to it, though it would be interesting to see who plays where.

Solomon’s display against Hull City is likely to mean he has that left-wing spot on lock, despite Gnonto and Ramazani both also being at their best there.

That said, Gnonto is undoubtedly the most comfortable in central areas and his performance in the win at Sheffield Wednesday, where he drifted inside a lot, could see him start at 10.

Ramazani would therefore line-up on the right, though the flexibility and versatility of all three should see plenty of rotation.
