The run of three games without defeat has seen a handful of Leeds United players enter a run of good form, and Daniel Farke spoke glowingly of some of his players on Thursday.
Leeds will be looking to make it four games without defeat on Saturday night as the Whites welcome Crystal Palace to Elland Road. All things are pointing in the right direction for Leeds ahead of Saturday.
Leeds are in good form, Palace are without six first-team players, including key stars like Ismaila Sarr and Daichi Kamada, and the Eagles play on Thursday night. Exactly 48 hours before Palace travel to Leeds.
Leeds win and Dominic Calvert-Lewin scores – change my mind 👊
Fifth goal in a row, incoming
Oliver Glasner has already said he’s going to make 11 changes to his side between Thursday night’s game against KuPS and then Leeds. A win could see Leeds go six clear of 18th-placed West Ham, who face City.
If Leeds are to win, they will need Dominic Calvert-Lewin to be at his best. The hype around the 11-time England star is growing with many suggesting a return to the Three Lions fold, after four goals in four.

Why Leeds United are fortunate with Dominic Calvert-Lewin
A win against Palace, and an expected win for City against West Ham, would see Leeds climb away from the relegation zone and until Monday night, ahead of Forest. They face Fulham on Monday night.
Calvert-Lewin is key to everything Leeds do at the moment. Farke told his presser how Leeds have been keeping the former Everton man fit, and have managed to steer him clear from suffering any injuries.
“A lack of game time in the last season, even a couple of years. Right now, crucial to take care of him and make sure he stays fit and trains regularly. It takes time to feel in a good rhythm and believe in your body.
“Now you can see the rewards. It takes time and consistency, never misses a training session, preparation is fantastic. Long may his run continue. We are fortunate we have him in such good shape,” Farke said.

Elland Road has been a fortress this season.
Leeds need Dominic Calvert-Lewin more than ever, now
Saturday night’s clash could actually be Leeds’ most important game for years. It is because Leeds take on a weakened Palace, at home, making them favourites, while their direct rivals to avoid 18th face City.
This is a game that if Leeds get right, can open up a six-point gap between themselves and West Ham. That will give Leeds confidence in the fight against relegation, and West Ham will start to feel nervous.
Saturday then, could be the point in which Leeds throw themselves towards Premier League safety going into the second half of the season. An opportunity they can’t pass up and a Calvert-Lewin goal helps.
