Daniel Farke has claimed Leeds United have a player that is the best in the Championship in one crucial area after his performance on Saturday afternoon, urging his teammates to be more like him.
A third win in six Championship games arrived on Saturday afternoon, with Leeds winning all three of their games with the score line of 2-0. A fourth clean sheet in those six league games for Leeds, as well.
Leeds were helped by a red card awarded to Cardiff defender Joel Bagan on 23 minutes for taking out Wilfried Gnonto when the Italian was through. Largie Ramazani opened the deadlock, his first for Leeds.
A second came when Joel Piroe arrived into the game from the bench, after Pascal Struijk had missed a penalty. Leeds got the job done, even if the victory was a tad underwhelming for traveling Leeds fans.

Piroe has only started one league game and that came in the away draw against West Brom. But he has impressed off the bench of late, scoring a second against Hull City and doing the same against Cardiff.
A composed finish when put through, lashing an effort into the roof of the net on the angle. Despite not starting often for Leeds, he is now the club’s joint-top goalscorer this season with Brenden Aaronson.
Farke said after the match that Piroe is the best finisher in the Championship, as per Leeds Live: “We need the menality of a hoover seller. You have to ring 40 houses and hope one buys the hoover from you.
“I was a striker, I would have died to score. This mentality needs to be added. We must be more like Joel Piroe, probably best finisher in the league. So happy we have him. Want us to be greedy to score goals.”

With Piroe struggling on occasion when used as a 10 and becoming renowned for going missing in some games in a Leeds shirt, it is no surprise that Mateo Joseph is being given the nod as first-choice striker.
Farke praised Joseph in a bizarre Erling Haaland comparison beforehand, but Farke’s system only allows one striker. But Newsome says he would love to see both Piroe and Joseph start in a two-striker system.
“I don’t know if Piroe’s physical enough to lead the line. I’d like to see us play with two strikers, I’d like us to play with a Mateo Joseph and a Piroe, you don’t have to play with a 10. You can play with two strikers.”
