Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has claimed it is too early to provide an update on the fitness of Jack Harrison and Tyler Adams.
Farke was speaking to LUTV following his first friendly in charge of Leeds, which ended in a 2-0 defeat to Manchester United following second half goals from Noam Emeran and Joe Hugill.
Leeds were without a number of key players for various different reasons, with some still recovering from injuries picked up at the end of last season, and others not having returned for pre-season.

Harrison and Adams are among those who fall under the former, though both are back at Thorp Arch and working to overcome their respective issues.
Harrison is continuing to overcome the hip problem that he was nursing in the final few matches of last term, while Adams remains out due to a hamstring injury.
Farke says it is too early for Harrison and Adams timeframe
Farke clearly wanted to remain coy on the fitness of the key duo, who have both been linked with moves away this summer following relegation.
The new Leeds boss acknowledges the next two months are going to be difficult for his side, but is keen on facing the challenge ahead.
He said: “No, it’s a bit too early to give you a timeframe already but we have had to play today without many key players. We know we are in a difficult situation because of the relegation but my job right now is to work professionally with the players, work on the fitness levels.
“They have had five coaches this year, they have to buy into our ideas and the way we want to work, but also give them some confidence back after some difficult years. We need some stability but this is my job and I will work on this from day to day, but it will be a long road and we know until the end of August there is lots of time.

“It will be a tricky two months but I will work, it’s a work in progress and I have enjoyed it so far.”
It is still unclear whether either will be here come the end of August but all Leeds and Farke can focus on right now is getting them both fit for Cardiff City.
Even though Farke refused to comment too much on the injuries, it is hoped both are now at the end of their respective recovery periods.
