Daniel Farke has told his post-match press conference – as per Leeds Live – that Ethan Ampadu has picked up a knock but it is unsure if the Leeds United ace will be available for Hull on Wednesday night.
Ampadu, 22, starred for Leeds again. Fresh from impressing on international duty with Wales in games against Latvia and South Korea, the £7m signing started in the middle of the park for the eighth time.
He won the man of the match award, after being announced as the club’s Player of the Month earlier this week. A wonderful start to his Leeds spell, leaving Chelsea. But, he got a knock late on at The Den.

With Luke Ayling beaten, he took the ball off the toe of onrushing Millwall man Aidomo Emakhu. It was Ampadu that took the full force of an incoming shot from Emakhu – leaving him on the deck for a while.
The ex-Chelsea man was clutching his upper right leg. It will be an impact injury, but he will only have 72 hours to recover ahead of Hull. Farke was asked about a potential injury to the Wales midfielder.

He responded by saying, as quoted by Leeds Live in his post-match press conference on Sunday at The Den: “Just a knock for Ampadu. Hopefully just a bruise and he carries on. Quick turnaround for us.”

Farke unsure if Ampadu available for Leeds clash against Hull
What a blow it would be if Ampadu is sidelined for a few weeks. He has been our best player this season and that is some compliment given the performances of Archie Gray, Illan Meslier and plenty of others.
But, it does look as if it was only an impact injury and if that is the case, then if he is missing next time out – it might only be for that game. Fingers crossed though, he is okay to lpay the entire game at Hull.
