Daniel Farke has delivered fitness updates on Leeds United wingers Manor Solomon and Largie Ramazani ahead of Wednesday night’s clash against Luton Town at Elland Road.
A quick turnaround for Leeds after beating Swansea 4-3 on the weekend. Solomon was handed a shock start, staying in the starting line-up after starting against QPR, with Wilfried Gnonto left on the bench.
Gnonto came off the bench to score the winner but only after replacing on-loan Tottenham man Solomon who scored two goals. Solomon’s form caught the eye of Tottenham supporters after the full-time whistle.
Solomon of course, has come back from a 12-month long injury and then a setback since then, tearing his meniscus and then suffering a back issue. But he played twice for Israel during the international break.

Daniel Farke says Manor Solomon unlikely to play 90 minutes
The chances are that Farke could bring Gnonto back into the side but, who for? Solomon scored twice and Dan James laid on two, if not three assists if his pass for Ben Cabango’s own goal counts as an assist.
Solomon might be given a third consecutive start against Luton and he deserves it. But speaking on Monday, Farke was asked about Solomon and said none of his wingers will play 90 minutes repeatedly.
“He had his best performance since the injury against QPR and then two starts against Belgium and France. Yesterday, another 70 minutes and probably his best and most-effective performance for the shirt.
“The winger positions, it is a good idea to keep an eye on them as it’s lots of high-speed running. It’s unlikely that a winger will play 90 minutes, all three games. You try to share the minutes a little bit.
Daniel Farke’s update on the returning Largie Ramazani
The £10m man has been sidelined since picking up an injury moments after opening the scoring in the 2-1 win over Watford. Ramazani hinted at a return during the break, and he was on the bench on Sunday.
Now, Farke has given an update and he says it will still be “a while” before Ramazani can be considered for a start. But, says the Belgian could come on: ” We’ll have late decisions with our wingers.
“I’m pleased that all my wingers are back. Obviously with Largie, it might be a while until he is a topic for the starting line-up but training has been beneficial. An option for a few minutes, it is a good situation.”
