Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf claim PSV Eindhoven will include a buyback clause for Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville if they make a move for the Dutchman this summer – with the star attracting plenty of interested clubs.

Summerville, 21, locked up 31 appearances for Leeds throughout 2022-23, having a hand in six goals. Hardly stats that jump off a page, but clubs are certainly keen. Bild said Dortmund were keen to use their influx of cash on him.

Aston Villa, Leipzig, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and plenty of others sides have been linked with a move to raid Leeds for Summerville. Now, Telegraaf say that PSV are keen, as they look to qualify for the Champions League.

Finishing second in the Eredivisie, PSV have qualified for the third qualifying round for the Champions League. It looks as if they are going to try and make early moves in the window, in order to be and up running for that game.

Summerville is a target. The pocket-sized winger came to Leeds from Feyenoord, the club that held the Eredivisie title aloft – ahead of PSV. They are ready to get their man, the report says they will include a buyback clause.

PSV would be a wonderful move for Summerville. Not only a return to his home country after what was a frustrating season for him, but to a club competing – potentially – in the Champions League group stages. A massive chance.

But, Leeds still wield some power over the future of Summerville. He is contracted at Elland Road until June 2026, meaning that while Leeds need to sell some assets – they can still request a decent fee for the tricky winger.
