Rodrigo Moreno’s potential move from Leeds United to Sevilla is now off.
That is according to El Partidazo de COPE journalist Javier Bautista, who reports Sevilla are unable to meet Rodrigo’s wage demands and as such, talks have now broken down.
It is also claimed that Rodrigo has now also ruled out a return to Spain due to receiving several offers from across the Middle East, and more specifically Qatar.

Rodrigo had appeared close to joining Sevilla last week, with reports from Spain indicating he had actually agreed personal terms to link back up with Victor Orta, who was named as their new sporting director earlier this month.
However, those claims appear to be premature with a deal now seemingly completely off the cards, as Rodrigo prioritises a move to Qatar instead.
Sevilla now out of Rodrigo race
Earlier this week, it was reported that Rodrigo was on the verge of agreeing a deal to make the move to Qatari side Al-Rayyan.
Leonardo Jardim is looking to make him the first major signing of his reign as manager, with the former AS Monaco boss officially set to take charge of Al-Rayyan tomorrow.

Rodrigo would become the latest of a long line of players to make the switch to the Middle East, though the majority of those have moved to Saudi Arabia.
He has just 12 months left to run on his deal at Leeds and has looked destined to depart ever since the club’s relegation, though a move to Qatar is unlikely to keep him in the Spain setup.
However, at 32, Al-Rayyan will undoubtedly be able to offer him what is likely to be the last big contract of his career, and no Leeds fan would begrudge him of that.
