Leeds United midfielder Brenden Aaronson has lifted the lid on how an angry team talk from Daniel Farke inspired his side to secure a 1-1 draw against Sunderland.

Speaking to LUTV after helping Leeds to another well-earned Premier League point against Sunderland, Aaronson admitted that Farke had criticised his players at half-time.
According to the Leeds midfielder, Farke has a good sense of when he needs to take a more direct approach with his players, and he did that to good effect at the Stadium of Light.
Aaronson said:” I think the coach did a great job of, you know, laying into us when we need to be laid into, you know, because I think, of course, he’s a great coach.
“He’s a great guy. He doesn’t like, you know, he’s not laid back in a way, but when he’s angry, you know, we all know, and that’s the good thing about it. And it’s a good relationship in that way. So I think it’s good for us.”
