Leeds United have been linked with a move for Stoke City left-back and Josh Tymon, while Swansea have made a £1.5m bid for the defender – and if he is available at that price, Leeds have got to move.
Tymon is expected to leave Stoke before Friday’s deadline after six years on the books at the Britannia. He has since had a hand in 17 goals in 122 games – as well as going on loan to MK Dons and Familicao.
But he is struggling to start for Stoke this term due to new signings, such as Ireland man Enda Stevens from Sheffield United. A report from Team Talk claims that Leeds are considering a move for Tymon.
A new update emerged from TeamTalk this week. The report claims that Swansea have now tabled a £1.5m bid for Tymon, ahead of Friday’s deadline. If that is deemed acceptable, what are we waiting for?

Leeds linked with Stoke left-back Tymon; Must move at £1.5m
Tymon is far from the finished article. But when breaking in at Hull, it was clear he has bags of potential. However, his inability to turn potential into proven quality has been teemed with Stoke’s fall from grace.
He needs a move that will give him the platform to go and maximise what he is capable of. Joining a Leeds side gunning for promotion would surely aid that. Junior Firpo remains at the club, but is injured.
So, it will be interesting to see what happens with him before Friday’s deadline. But Leo Hjelde struggled on Tuesday and it is clear we need a left-back. Tymon is a bargain at £1.5m – and available. Get it done.
