After scoring twice to fire Leeds to a 4-1 win over Crystal Palace, Instagram was flooded with comments of support for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, including a message from Aaron Lennon.

Lennon – who made 43 appearances for the Whites during his time at Elland Road – sent the Leeds No.9 a ‘respect’ emoji, depicting a fist bump along with several fire emojis to emphasise his electric run of form.
Pascal Struijk also left a message, simply posting an emoji of an England flag to suggest Thomas Tuchel needs to call Calvert-Lewin up to the Three Lions squad.
Leeds fans think the same, having chanted “England’s number nine” at the striker as he tore Crystal Palace apart.
Jayden Bogle – a target for Everton – also commented, calling his teammate a “class” act.
If Calvert-Lewin can keep this form up, Leeds should have no problems when it comes to staying in the Premier League this season.

Calvert-Lewin, who did actually rejected a UEFA Champions League side, hit back at this comment in brilliant fashion, retorting: “They did. And I chose Leeds. MOT.”
Leeds fans would have surely loved that reply, but the performances failed to match as he scored just once in his first ten Premier League appearances.
Now, however, Calvert-Lewin is delivering the performances to match his words off the pitch, edging him one step closer to becoming a cult hero at Elland Road.
