Aaron Lennon had a period working back at his boyhood club Leeds United last season.
Lennon came through the ranks at Thorp Arch as a youngster and after making his debut at just 16, only went onto play for Leeds 43 times.
Due to the club’s financial situation, Leeds were forced into selling Lennon to Tottenham Hotspur, having handed him a professional deal they simply could not afford at the time.
It is almost two years since Lennon announced his retirement from playing and he is now seemingly intent on making the transition into a coaching role.
According to the PFA, Lennon began work on his UEFA B coaching badges alongside former Leeds striker Jermaine Beckford in February this year.

Lennon blown away by Harry Gray after time at Leeds
Lennon appeared on talkSPORT earlier today where he was quizzed on a number of topics surrounding two of his former clubs Leeds and Tottenham.
After discussing Leeds’ upcoming game with Sheffield United, Alan Brazil then put forward a question about Archie Gray’s younger brother Harry.
Archie has claimed in the past Harry is actually a better talent than him, despite the fact just one season of professional football earned him a £40 million move to Tottenham in the summer.
And it appears as though that statement from Archie may not be too far wrong, with Lennon claiming Harry Gray is the best young talent he has seen in several years.
He said: “I was working back at Leeds last season and he is ridiculous. He’s frightening. He’s a number 10, number nine. Honestly, he has got all kinds.
“I don’t want to talk about him too much because I think everyone will want him, he’s that good. He’s probably the best thing I’ve seen in years.”
What Daniel Farke has said about Gray’s Leeds prospects
Archie was 17 when he made his senior debut for Leeds 14 months ago but did actually appear on the bench as a 15-year-old under Marcelo Bielsa.
Harry is now 16 so isn’t quite as far along in his development as Archie was at that age, but did come off the bench in Leeds’ pre-season win at Harrogate Town, and was also part of the travelling squad to Germany.
Similarly to Archie at this age, Harry is actually currently on the sidelines through injury, but is already been linked with big clubs such as Spurs.
Daniel Farke has been quick to ease the pressure on Harry every time he has spoken about him, though couldn’t deny what a big talent he is.
He said: “No, he is a 15-year-old lad and obviously we have to be a bit careful. He is a guy with lots of talent, I don’t like to praise young lads too much and put them in the spotlight.
“But today was a good scenario and chance to give him an appetiser for first team football, but we can’t expect to see him pretty, pretty soon right now.
“Full of potential, here and there he will get a chance to smell a bit how it is with the first team, but we will stay patient and won’t put too much load on his small shoulders.
“We have to work with him, but he also earned it with good performances at youth level. It was great for him more or less in his home stadium in the first public game for us.”
