The January window is already approaching with Leeds United likely to do a bit of business both in and out, as Daniel Farke looks to rectify the mistake he made in the last January window.
In January 2024, Leeds needed new signings to bolster their ranks. A centre-back and a striker would not have gone amiss, and possibly even a no.10 but Leeds only made one signing, a loan for Connor Roberts.
This time around, the Whites have already had to make a signing since the summer in the form of Josuha Guilavogui. Leeds could do with more cover at centre-back, a striker and without doubt, another no.10.
But it might be that if Leeds are to make new signings in the winter window, then room will have to be made by offloading one or two others. Below, are five players that could leave Leeds in the next window.

Five players who could leave Leeds United in January
Joe Gelhardt
The most-obvious one to go in January has got to be Joe Gelhardt. He is no-longer a young player at 22, Gelhardt has already been out on loan and is fourth-choice. Carlton Palmer said Gelhardt should leave.
Max Wober
Wober has said he is not interested in leaving Leeds this week, but the Austrian is a player to have played in the Champions League and at major tournaments and is now on the bench in England’s second tier.
Patrick Bamford
Bamford admitted he wanted to leave Leeds after relegation. Now, he finds himself third choice armed with the knowledge he will only remain injury free if he is constantly playing – meaning, he needs a move.

Junior Firpo
It would be a surprise to see Firpo go, but his contract will expire next summer. Non-English sides can approach Firpo on a pre-contract from January 1, but Firpo will wait to see what league Leeds are in first.
Manor Solomon
His debut gave Leeds fans a lot of excitement and promise but since then, the Israel skipper has not been what Leeds might have hoped. Tottenham may decide to axe the £54k-a-week star’s season-long loan.
