Luis Sinisterra starred in Bournemouth’s 5-0 FA Cup win over Swansea City on Thursday night, with the Colombian getting his name on the score sheet – and Leeds target Jhon Arias was impressed.

Sinisterra, 24, was handed his fifth start for Bournemouth and his 15th outing in total last night at The Vitality Stadium – and got himself a goal and an assist, curling home his loan side’s third of five goals.

He then nabbed himself an assist for Bournemouth’s fifth goal, laying on Dom Solanke to score. Superb from the on-loan Leeds man, who has three goals and two assists for Bournemouth in his 15 games.

It is unclear what Sinisterra’s future will be in the long run, but there is every chance he could be wearing a Leeds shirt next season. He remains on loan at Bournemouth, without a permanent option in his deal.

The former Feyenoord man, who cost Leeds a fee of £21m in the summer of 2022 after starring for the Dutch side under Arne Slot during 2021-22, took to Instagram after Thursday’s impressive victory.

Sinisterra is certainly impressing under the guidance of Andoni Iraola, a manager that was linked with the Elland Road job after the sacking of Jesse Marsch back in February 2023. But he’s not a regular.

He has started just three of Bournemouth’s last 10 Premier League games having returned from injury. It is unclear if Bournemouth will move to sign him permanently. Indeed, he will cost an expensive figure.

Arias, who has starred for Brazilian side Fluminense over the past 12 months, has attracted interest from Leeds, Rangers and West Ham. He commented on Sinisterra’s Instagram, after his display on Thursday.
