Luis Sinisterra was among those who secured a controversial Leeds United exit in the summer.

The 24-year-old was one of eight players from last season’s first team squad to leave on loan during the window after making it clear he did not want to play in the Championship.

Leeds had managed to keep Sinisterra right up until the very final hour of the deadline but ultimately, were happy to see him go after he threatened legal action against the club if he did not leave, as per Phil Hay.

In an interview with the Square Ball this week, Leeds chief Angus Kinnear has claimed he was glad to see the back of both Sinisterra and Tyler Adams after the way they conducted themselves this summer.

However, unlike Adams, Sinisterra was only able to secure a loan switch during the window and so could find himself back at Elland Road at the end of the season.

Sinisterra surely does not have Leeds future after Kinnear comments

Bournemouth have an option-to-buy in the deal that took Sinisterra to the South Coast, but only in the event that Leeds do not get promoted.

If Leeds are able to secure a return to the Premier League, Sinisterra would then return to the club, which would leave them with a huge decision to make.

Sinisterra is quite clearly a Premier League-level player but his behaviour this summer will not only make it hard for the fans to forgive him, but also Kinnear based on his comments.

The Colombian would no doubt be happy to come crawling back if Leeds can offer him top-flight football again, but would he deserve to?

Leeds have managed to move on all the toxic players who did not want to be here during the window and allowing players like Sinisterra to return could set a dangerous precedent.

Given the lengths he went to make sure he left Leeds it is extremely difficult to see how he could comeback and return as if nothing has ever happened.
