Leeds United target Joel Piroe is now almost certain to stay at Swansea City unless something changes ‘dramatically’ before the end of the window.
That is according to the Wales Online, who report Piroe’s representatives are unhappy at the terms of a sale being offered by Swansea this summer and therefore it is unlikely he will now leave.
It is said that Piroe and his agent held talks with former chief executive Julian Winter all the way back in January regarding the terms of a summer sale.

However, in the wake of Winter’s exit from South Wales, the agreement between Piroe’s representatives on the Swans was revoked, which has made a departure difficult.
Leeds, Leicester City, Sheffield United and Atalanta have all been linked with the 23-year-old this summer, but are likely to have to move elsewhere.
Leeds target Piroe to stay at Swansea
In truth, a deal for Piroe has looked difficult throughout the window with Swansea setting an asking price of £15 million, according to the Daily Mail.
While Atalanta and Leicester have appeared to have cooled their interest, it has not made a deal any easier and so in the last few weeks, speculation has gone quiet.

Piroe has less than 12 months left on his contract at the Swans and has already rejected a new deal, though talks have taken place since then.
Leeds remain in the market for a new striker before next Friday’s deadline and Aston Villa’s Cameron Archer is reportedly an alternative.
Again, though, that is looking like an expensive deal and so it remains to be seen what route Leeds end up going down.
