Leeds United will take a break from their league exploits when they return to FA Cup action this weekend, though they are against fellow Championship side Millwall.

It’s been a fantastic week for Leeds United that has more than justified their lack of signings in the January transfer window, regardless of how nice the addition of Cameron Archer would have been.

Daniel Farke’s side hammered Cardiff City 7-0 last weekend and followed it up with a 2-0 victory at Frank Lampard’s Coventry City on Wednesday.

With two more wins under their belt, Leeds are still sitting pretty at the top of the Championship table and have stretched their lead over Burnley and Sheffield United to five points.

There will now be a brief respite from the pressure of the title race as Leeds return to FA Cup action to face 14th-placed Millwall.

United defeated local rivals Harrogate Town in the third round and will be aiming to keep their cup run going. Here’s everything you need to know.

Despite kicking off early in the afternoon and not being subject to the UK’s football blackout rule, that match will not be available on any TV channel as broadcasters have not selected it.

Leeds vs Millwall live stream

As a result, there also won’t be a live stream of the game but BBC Radio Leeds will have live commentary.

Leeds vs Millwall team news

Leeds are once again without just one player for the match as Patrick Bamford remains sidelined with a hamstring injury, with his last appearance coming on New Year’s Day.

Speaking ahead of the match: Farke said: “The only player who is not in team training is Patrick. That’s the first step, to return to team training.

“We hope it happens next week. It depends on the final stages of rehab. Definitely not in mix for Saturday.”

Farke will likely make several changes to his side to rest his most important players so the likes of Willy Gnonto, Largie Ramazani, Ilia Gruev, Pascal Struijk, Mateo Joseph, Isaac Schmidt and Josuha Guilavogui will all potentially come in.

Prediction

As nice as an FA Cup run would be, it’s clearly not the priority this season and it wouldn’t be heartbreak central if Leeds were knocked out of the competition.

A much-changed side laboured to defeat Harrogate last month and might struggle to find its rhythm again, which could be dangerous against tougher opposition.

There’s a strong chance Leeds will suffer an upset but, if the second string want to prove they deserve more minutes then they will have to perform.

Prediction: Leeds 2-1 Millwall.
