Daniel Farke humbled Oliver Glasner on an embarrassing night for the Austrian against Leeds.

Despite entering the weekend fifth in the Premier League, Crystal Palace were thrashed 4-1 at Elland Road as Leeds moved six points clear of the bottom three.

The embarrassment continued for Glasner even after the final whistle, as fan footage showed the 51-year-old struggling to find his way off the pitch after being outwitted by Daniel Farke.

Elland Road is undoubtedly a raucous venue, even more so when Leeds have just won a Premier League game by four goals to one.

The atmosphere was so mind-bogglingly loud on Saturday night, that Glasner even struggled to find his way back to the dressing room.

As you can see, a video captured by a supporter shows the Crystal Palace boss wandering over to the corner flag searching for a quick getaway, only to be pointed back in the opposite direction.

The man from Salzburg must have been truly rattled by his side’s feeble display, as he surely would have walked straight past the actual tunnel to even reach that spot in the first place.

Oliver Glasner admits Crystal Palace could not handle Leeds United when it came to duels

Glasner – who did a Marcelo Bielsa before the match – was brutally honest towards his side speaking after the game, and gave credit to Leeds when claiming that Crystal Palace “fully deserved to lose” at Elland Road.

He told BBC Sport: “Very disappointing performance today. Couldn’t defend set plays, honestly it’s embarrassing. Couldn’t match their physicality today. Today is the first game we fully deserved to lose.

“They played man-to-man and we lost every single duel. We won one duel and we get the penalty. When you lose all the duels, it’s the basics, we didn’t show the basics. We thought we could pass the ball but we had no chance in the duels and then you lose every single game.”

To rattle a talented manager this much, one who has delivered the FA Cup and Community Shield for Crystal Palace, speaks volumes about just how well Farke prepared Leeds for this match.

Hopefully, Leeds can extend this four-game unbeaten run next time out against Sunderland.
