The feel-good factor at Leeds United has quickly diminished after a poor end to the transfer window, a last-minute defeat to Fulham, and the concern of just one goal scored in four Premier League games.
While the Premier League table is not important after four games, Leeds have dropped into the bottom five after an encouraging win against Everton on the opening day, and a decent draw against Newcastle.
After the frustration of Harry Wilson and Facundo Buonanotte, a point at Fulham would have gone a long way to appeasing fans. Especially given Leeds’ record in London when it comes to Premier League games.
But, the unlucky Gabriel Gudmundsson headed into his own net, a fluke own goal. Saturday is arguably Leeds’ most important game so far, a clash against a direct relegation rival as Leeds go to Molineux.

Wolves have been woeful this season, but so is Farke’s record
Four games, four defeats. At least for Wolves, they have scored two goals under Vitor Pereira. But they sit bottom of the Premier League table after losing to Man City, Bournemouth, Everton and Newcastle.

Both sides will look at the fixture as crucial in the fight to avoid relegation come the end of the season. Wolves might have lost all four games so far, but home advantage will make them slight favourites.
Especially as Leeds have now lost both away games this season. More so, because of Farke’s woeful record against the Midlands outfit. Four career matches as a manager against Wolves, one point won.

Leeds United’s record against Wolves in their last 10 games
Leeds have had Wolves’ number in the last five games. The last outing being a 4-2 win over Wolves at Molineux, a game that saw even Rasmus Kristensen score for The Whites after his Denmark axe in 2023.
Jesse Marsch was successful against Wolves in the Premier League, winning all three games. Including, the late Luke Ayling winner, which also proved to be Kris Klaesson’s only Premier League outing for Leeds.

But before that, Marcelo Bielsa only managed one point from three games against them. It is unclear if Leeds can rely on historic data given the last time the two sides met was two and a half years ago.
