Leeds United’s pre-season plans for their return to the Premier League have taken shape.
Leeds United earned promotion to the Premier League by winning the Championship title with 100 points.
Daniel Farke’s side threatened to throw it away with a terrible run of one win in six games but turned their form back around at the perfect moment to edge out Chris Wilder’s Blades for an automatic spot.
Now Leeds know they’ll be back in the big time next season but it’s going to take a lot of hard work this summer for them to stay there.
The squad will have to prepare as well as possible during pre-season to get a running start to life in the top flight.
With three friendlies already confirmed, here’s everything you need to know about Leeds’ pre-season plans.

Where is Leeds United’s 2025 pre-season tour?
Leeds United have not yet confirmed a full tour for pre-season, though they will travel to Sweden and the Republic of Ireland for one-off games.
That will give Leeds fans the chance to see their club play abroad, something they were denied last summer when the Whites travelled to Germany.
Farke took his squad to his homeland for a training camp and they played twice, defeating Hannover 4-1 and Schalke 2-0.
However, both were played behind closed doors with fans unable to attend.
When do Leeds players return for pre-season in 2025?
It has not yet been confirmed when the squad will report back to Thorp Arch for pre-season training.
The majority of the players came back on July 1 last year, though those who had international commitments in the summer were given extra time off.
Their return might be later this summer, though, as the Premier League doesn’t start as early.
Leeds United pre-season tour 2025 fixtures
Regardless of when the players are back in training, they will certainly return to the field by July 19 as they face old foes Manchester United in a not-so-friendly.
The game will take place at the Strawberry Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, and fans are able to attend.
After facing Valencia at Elland Road last summer, Leeds will once again welcome Spanish opposition this summer when they face Villarreal.
Their final friendly before the season begins will be against AC Milan in Dublin.
