Colombian outlet AS claim The 49ers are desperate to keep Luis Sinisterra at Leeds United this summer ahead of a push for promotion – but are aware that the winger has plenty of interest in him from both Germany and Spain.
Sinisterra, 23, was signed from Feyenoord after starring under Arne Slot in a season which Feyenoord reached the Europa Conference League final, losing to Jose Mourinho’s Roma. He moved to Leeds, a replacement for Raphinha.
But injury ravaged his first season at Elland Road. The Colombian managed just 22 appearances in all competitions, but did manage to score seven goals – including five in the Premier League. He has even impressed Glenn Hoddle.
However, with relegation – Sinisterra is likely to be one of the first out of the door. A report from Colombian outlet El Deportivo recently said Bayer Leverkusen were keen on a possible loan. He has a contract at Leeds until June 2027.
While the expectation is that Sinisterra will go, a report from AS says that the 49ers are desperate to keep the wide man at Elland Road – despite relegation. However, they are aware that Spanish and German clubs are interested.

In an ideal world, keeping Sinisterra at Elland Road would be incredible. He is a player that showed he was more than capable of scoring plenty of goals in the Premier League. In the Championship, you would expect him to shine.
But, he is a player that even despite his injuries, is going to garner plenty of interest. Perhaps, it is best for all parties if Sinisterra was loaned to the likes of Leverkusen without an option. Then, a decision can be made next summer.
