Leeds United have made a lot of money from player sales over the years and here are their 13 biggest exits ever.

Leeds United have had a number of brilliant footballers play at Elland Road, even in recent years when they have been in the Premier League for just two seasons.

But finding them is one thing; keeping hold of those stars is a lot tougher, which has resulted in several big player sales over the years.

There have been icons and club heroes of the past who have come and gone, with some profit in the market as well.

So with that said, here’s a look at the top ten most expensive player sales in Leeds United history.

13 – Jack Clarke – £9.4m

Jack Clarke was sold to Tottenham for roughly £9.4m in 2019, having shown plenty of promise through the Leeds academy and in a brief spell with the first team.

Ross McCormack left Leeds in 2014 to join Fulham for just over £10m, with hopes of helping the team return to the Premier League.

Jonathan Woodgate left Leeds in 2003 to join Newcastle, having made his way through the academy at the club into the first team.
