Leeds United transfer rumours latest, including updates on midfield pair Habib Diarra and Raphael Onyedika, as well as a crucial Nick Pope reveal.
The transfer window has been open for a while and Leeds are continuing their momentum in the market as concrete transfer news and rumours are emerging with every passing day of the window for Leeds United.
A busy summer is expected at Leeds as Daniel Farke looks to improve several areas of the side, with the Leeds squad far from ready ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League in spite of the additions of Lukas Nmecha and Jaka Bijol in recent weeks.
In the meantime, with vital months ahead for Farke, the 49ers, and Leeds’ recruitment team, here we have taken a look at some of the latest transfer news and the biggest headlines coming out of the club.

Leeds United target Nick Pope and Newcastle United make stance emerges on summer exit
With Illan Meslier expected to leave Leeds this summer and Fenerbahce supposedly interested in Meslier, Leeds need a new goalkeeper.
They have been linked with plenty of options, but top of Leeds’ list seems to be Newcastle’s Nick Pope. That’s because Leeds have been linked with Pope for much of the window.
The belief is Burnley sign a replacement for James Trafford, and then the Championship Player of the Season candidate would join Newcastle United. That could free up Pope to leave and become Leeds’ No.1.
However, it is now claimed that, instead of opting to leave Newcastle, even with the signing of Trafford, he would rather remain with Eddie Howe’s side and play as a No.2 goalkeeper instead of Pope leaving to join Leeds.

A second Habib Diarra bid made by Leeds United
Habib Diarra could be an excellent addition to Leeds’ engine room, with the Strasbourg captain linked to Leeds for weeks now and it was even deemed that Diarra joining Leeds was ‘imminent’ at one stage.
Liam Rosenior described Diarra as ‘magnificent’ last season and interest mounts in the midfielder, with Atletico Madrid now interested in Diarra.
A 21-year-old captain, Diarra is free to leave Strasbourg this summer. However, the latest twist is that Leeds have reportedly now offered £23.9 million for Diarra.
The problem is, Diarra and his representatives are deemed somewhat ambitious, they think he is worthy of an elite club — and that means one in Europe next term.

West Ham lead Leeds and Everton in the Raphael Onyedika race
On top of Diarra, Leeds have been linked with several midfielders so far this summer already. He is just one on a long shortlist of players.
A Leeds United News exclusive revealed last week that Club Brugge and Nigeria midfielder Raphael Onyedika is a transfer target for Leeds this summer transfer window as well as Diarra.
It’s been said that Onyedika’s exit from Club Brugge is a ‘foregone conclusion’ in the coming weeks and Leeds are in the mix for his signature, but there is mounting Premier League interest.
Unfortunately for Leeds, the race appears to nearing a conclusion. That’s because West Ham now lead Everton and Leeds for Onyedika in a £25 million switch this summer.
